Hiatt Furniture has celebrated over fifty years of product quality and service
excellence. Founded by the Hiatt family following World War II, the company has
continued a tradition of high quality modern furniture for three generations.
Hiatt Furniture is the longest standing upholstery company on the West Coast
dedicated to providing customers with technologically superior furniture at
consumer friendly prices.
In recent years, Hiatt has sought to improve its competitive position through
modernization of our factory and the equipment. The Hiatt manufacturing facility
is located in Hawthorne, CA and operates on over 200,000-sq. ft. of property. 100%
of the product is fabricated at our facility making our factory self-sufficient in its
manufacturing requirements. This not only helps reduce shipping times; it helps
control the quality of our product.
Hiatt's history in the furniture industry has provided the company with a
superior perspective on industrial advances in consumer safety and environmental
preservation of our natural resources. In addition to providing a safe product for
our customers, Hiatt preserves our natural resources by establishing methods
of manufacturing that uses engineered wood in our frames, non-toxic chemicals
in dying our fabrics and fluorocarbon free foam.
At Hiatt, design begins with knowledge of consumer attitudes and wants distilled
from research, sales data and input from retailers. In order for a new item to meet
its cost and quality goals our design engineers have to create product that employed
fewer parts, new materials and more efficient assembly. Hiatt is always watching trends
and collaborating with retailers to develop the very latest in styling designed with
luxury and visual appeal. However, it is our dedication to a top quality product that
